ASG220: Does not power down

Hi folks,
i've got a strange behavior with a brand new asg 220.

I've copied the config of a runnig asg and restored on the new device. Everything is fine.

So i shuted down the box and it is only beeping. On the screen it show the following:

It looks like a service could not be ended while swichting to runlevel 0. 

I've never had such a issue before. is there a solution?

The actual firmware is 7.501. (we need this box with 7.501 for two weeks). After that it will be new installed and running with 7.504

    Quick one for you guys, this is happening on the 425 as well, and if I recall correctly the 110/120 "atleast the old ones" as well as the 220.

    The issue you're seeing is an old issue from way back when we were all running AT style power supplies with the hard on/off switches instead of the push button switches that send just a short electrical signal.

    An Astaro engineer would have to confirm or deny it but the reason they are shutting down the OS and not the system is by design as to have the power switch working properly where the Astaro hardware will ignore the signal from the OS to power off and requires the manual switch toggle to power the system off after the OS has shut down.  This functionality does make the most sense as there's a 1/0 switch on the back of the unit and not a generic power button.

    When you see "System Halted" on the screen it is safe to shut down without any problems.  Now I do agree it'd be VERY nice if say the fans lowered in RPM or there was some indication it was safe to shut down at the end of that process for those without a monitor plugged in.
