Hey Guys, new to this.
We downloaded the .iso for asg v7.5092, we have also built our own computer to host this on.
Specs are as follows: -
Mobo - Gigabyte ga-h55-ud3h
Processor - Intel Core i3-530 2.9Ghz
4GB DDR3 Ram
Samsung USB CD-R, DVD-RW Drive.
All products are brand new and were assembled this morning by myself.
The problem we have is trying to install v7.5 we get to step 3 out of 7 and the computer detects hardware then it tells us that the Installation had failed, it wants us to remove the cd-rom and restart the system.
We have tried countless other combinations of hardware including using an IDE hard drive switching to an IDE CD-Drive and back again.
We have also tried playing around with different setups including "nosmp" and "classic".
Have browsed through some of the threads on here that relate to what we are experiencing and have tried the Alt, F2, F3 and F4 solutions previously suggested by another member on here.
Also tried md5sum with the iso file.
Please help!
