7.503 released

7.503 was released today (Astaro Up2Date Announcements), with only a licensing bugfix.

I take it that the accepted feature requests that were slated for inclusion in 7.503 (Astaro Gateway Feature Requests), will now be pushed to 7.504?

Authentication: Proxy.pac Auto-Configure Support/Export
WebSecurity: HTTPS Exceptions
proxy pac is much needed
dhcp option 252
Override global proxy logging by exception list
MailSecurity: SMTP routing with wildcard domain names / include subdomains
WebSecurity: Exceptions by Category Type

Gert may want to consider updating these listings at the feature request site.

Thanks.

  • Experienced the same issue here as well, and had to reboot to get internet connectivity again.
  • Wow... sounds like they need to add a reboot to the up2date script.

  • After the update the firewall stops almost all traffic after ~15 to 20 minutes. Rebooting helps a bit.
  • I started a case with Astaro about this; we directly manage a multitude of ASG devices, and something like this would cause me to have to break out the bottle of Excedrin... we're (my company) putting 7.503 in a "holding pattern" until I figure out what's going on; worst case we have to manually add a reboot command to CRON scheduled shortly after we install the update to make sure the box comes back up... since this up2date is not critical to most of our customers, we'll wait.
