installation problem at DL 380 G6

Dear All, 

I have problem to install astaro at DL 380 G6, 
when I install this server  alway error in the step 3 of 7  
"Installation failed " Please remove CD-ROM and restart The System.

I Use 2 CD installation ASG V 7.2 and ASG V7.3, problem still same,

did Server DL 380 G6 don't support Or My CD problem?

I read HCL the latest server support just until DL380G5

    thats a bummer !

    i see that DL380G6 has support for Integrated Hypervisors (Optional) i.e : 
    VMware virtualization technology 
    Citrix XenServer virtualization technology 

    Check whether the DL380G6 server at ur hand supports it or not. (since the detailed specs on HP website shows this as OPTIONAL)

    So u might consider installing the Astaro Security Gateway Virtual Appliance for VMware (for time being though, till you find any other solution)

    I have a DL360G6... and the CD/DVD issue was the only one i had so far...

    If i remember correctly it was a Chipset Problem. So i used a "Astaro Smart Installer" USB Stick, that emulates a CD-Rom. A "real" USB CD/DVD-Drive would work too.

    If you get an ASI-Stick, remember that it is preinstalled with an Hardware-Appliance only Version of Astaro. But you can download the ASI Image for the Software-Appliance from Index of /Astaro_Security_Gateway/v7/software_appliance/smart_installer.

    but if  I see  from its error logs there is information hard drive problems,

    Hi, which RAID controller are you using, and have you setup the RAID already?
    I believe at least the p400i controllers are supported.

    finally, i have done installation this server.
    You right  KSeemann, the problem is CD/DVD issue

    I try to external CD-ROM connected from USB, and the instalation run succesfully
