im working with a VMware image of an asg 7500 and actually im searching for the box, where i can enter my network proxy, to get the asg on the internet.
have you tried clicking the questionmark on the top right in webadmin? it has a pretty descent documentation.
what do you mean "windows gets no dns"? have you set up dhcp on the astaro to give your local clients the IPs? then you should check if the DNS server is correctly distributed.
if you configured your client manually to use astaro as dns, check your dns forwarders (network services/dns) and try to resolve some adresses from the astaro (support/tools)
