asg 7.500 where can i enter my proxy?

you would bridge the ASG through your vm box and setup nat rules on the ASG to get it on the internet.

do you mean I have to use the "bridge" setting in vmware? Sorry but I get kicked from the Network when I do this due to the configuration of the network of the company here.

are you talking about the parent proxy feature?

ok thx. ive found it. but its till not working. windows even gets no dns, when I try to ping any internet site.

does anyone know a configuration guide for noobs like me? [:D]

have you tried clicking the questionmark on the top right in webadmin? it has a pretty descent documentation.

what do you mean "windows gets no dns"? have you set up dhcp on the astaro to give your local clients the IPs? then you should check if the DNS server is correctly distributed.

if you configured your client manually to use astaro as dns, check your dns forwarders (network services/dns) and try to resolve some adresses from the astaro (support/tools)
