Hi Folks,
I got the old ASG220 from our office, as we've gotten a new one via upgrade.
(The old one -P III 512MB RAM- wouldn't have performed very well under 7.4)
My intent is, to install the personal licensed ASG version on that box.
Unfortunately I ran into several odds right at the beginning:
- the box has no VGA output, so I can't see at which step of setup I am
- as I read the posts related to this, one said, I won't have a working LED-Display nor front-panel buttons ??
Is this so ?
To explain my request further:
Yes, I found the posting about the VGA-adaptor.
But ... none of the distributors has it on stock any more and I hate welding ...
So - any other way to get the thang installed ??
And - is there a way to get the display and buttons working ?
Yes ! I know there is one - but is anyone willing to give me instructions how to do this ?
I'm no total linux noob, so a few good hints should do.
