switch

Hi !

today i connected my 1st 110  ,(i have to connect 220 at clients place )it has 1 small page where it says/show diagram lan port has to be connected with switch, is it mandatory to connect  trough Ethernet switch because i try to connect directly after system boot my pc shows connect and after some time it say unplugged Ethernet cable  but afte putting cable trough switch it works fine !

is 220 has also same procedure !

    Although some Ethernet switches are auto-sensing, I don't know of any computers that can adapt to a direct connection.  It pays to have an Ethernet Crossover Cable in your toolkit.
