How many users/traffic was the ASG320 designed to handle?

I noticed the new firmware update 7.400 will require more memory if you system is running at over 70% memory usage. How many users was the Astaro ASG 320 hardware appliance designed to handle at once?

Thanks,

John

  • It's about more than just users; other factors are how much traffic, which features are enabled, how many emails (if you're using the Email Security features) traverse the device, etc.  It's safe to to say that if you have a 320 that is exceeding 70% RAM usage on 7.306, it's a good idea to update to 2GB of RAM... the official RAM upgrades from Astaro are not too expensive (and I recommend them; using other memory can void your support and warranty), and you'll be able to use the new features and see improved performance.  Contact your Reseller for details.
