Recent Firmware Update Did Something Interesting

Hey,
I just installed the recent firmware update 7.302 I believe and I noticed that it completely rest my system. I has to configure the unit from scratch Hostname, EULA and all.

Anyone have any ideas why that could happen?

    Many users reporting errors with loss of configuration or failed services using 7.30X
    Problem seems to be limited to 7.302 however 7.301 may exhibit the problem as well.

    I have seen a couple of situations where power fluctuations or outages have caused database issues, especially during or shortly after an update.  If a key segment of the database cannot be recovered, the system may recreate the relevant tables or entire database.  This will look like a factory reset, as the recreated database is empty.  It is uncommon, but it may be a factor in some of these cases- especially given the power disruptions experienced in parts of the US due to extreme weather.

    Jack Daniel, see the other thread in this topic, there are many reports of postgresql failing to start as well as the sshd and ulog.  (Since v 7.301)
    It looked like a factory reset since the initial setup screen opened when going to web admin instead of dashboard.
