Hardware experiences

I saw an older post that referenced installing ASG 7 on a Sun x2200. Anyone have updated impressions/results from the x2100 or x2200 (m2 or otherwise)?

Barring that, can anyone give recommendations on solid 1u hardware with raid support, at least 3 NICs, and redundant PSUs? The HCL seems pretty sparse with up-to-date hardware. I don't think most of the off-the-shelf systems they spec are still being sold in the same configuration.

    We've typically used Dell hardware, though we usually use 2U units so that we have room to add more NICs if we need to. Logic Supply has some 4-port NICs which work great and are very reasonably priced.

    Typically you need to be the most careful with the RAID card selection and sometimes NIC selection. We've had compatibility issues in the past using v6 notably with RAID controllers, especially with anything that used a megaraid driver, but v7 should be better in this area.
