Additional IP-Address on Ethernet Interface

Hello,

hope anyone can help me. I use Astaro v7.002
Here what iam doing[:(]

I setting up an additional address for eth3. Wait some time. After a refresh on Webadmin the address seems to be up.
Now i test a ping to the address, no answer. I test a ping to the address on eth3 - it is answering.

If i take a look on the console, with ifconfig, i see all my IPs, when a test a ping from the console to the additional IP-Address i get an answer.

Does anyone have the same problems with additional IPs??[:@]

I'm new to Astaro so I may be way off base, but do you have to setup any packet filter rules to allow access to the new IP address? I know when I first setup my Astaro V7.002, there were some check boxes to allow ICMP and PING to and through the firewall, but I'm not sure if that would apply to additional IP addresses or not.

I have done so. I created some DNAT-Rules and some Packet Filter Rules, nothing works. Nothing on the additional address is responding.

Do the Additional IP has the Default Gateway set to "none"? Or did you set a gateway?

I believe additional IPs cannot have Their Own gateway configured (if on the same subnet)

Make sure you have 255.255.255.255 as your mask for additional addresses.
