Automatic Pattern Updates

Hallo,

in the management>>Up2Dates i can reed:

Pattern  
  
 Current pattern version:  1652 
 
Latest available pattern version:  1943 
 
ASG will not download and install the pattern 1943. Whats wrong there ?
Then ASG 6.304 sends me hourly e mail that the patterns are updated.
I can't start the pattern update manually ?
The last mail for pattern update was sent at 12:50.
Why does the ASG 7 not automaticly update the patterns ? Now I have found in the log of up2date, that there was a problem with downloads ?

    Well, Version 6.304 here hadn't downloaded / installed an AV up2date since Friday, I started a ticket with Astaro this AM and they've gotten it fixed (something goofy with the up2date servers)... that may have also affected V7 users too.. maybe.

    Received 404 error message.
    Trying another Authentication Server...

    This is serious!!! A month ago we switched to hourly pattern update because the virus scanner didn't catch a virus that was announced on TV a day before!

    I would suggest starting a ticket with Astaro support... there may be an issue that they are not aware of (like the 6.304 issue I posted about earlier in this thread).

    We are currently moving some of our up2date servers to new server locations. The move is finished, but on some servers DNS still needs to catch up with new location IPs, and the clients need to re-adjust too. This should work automatically, just be patient.
