Will this hardware work with V7?

Hi all,
I would like to use the following hardware for V7.

Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe // Athlon64 3800 // 1024GB
PCI (32 Bit)  3 // 33 MHz
PCIe x1  2
PCIe x16  2

with 3 piece Intel Pro/1000MT Pro PCIx (64bit)

Would be important to know whether the three Intel NIC work.

Thanks for each assistance / hints.

The NICs should work.

What kind of HD controller?

1TB RAM? pretty good [:P]

Ups, 1GB (although 1T would already be a hot box).

standard IDE. Unfortunately SATA is not supported (Nvidia etc.).

The Nforce (Nvidia chip) is not supported see:http://www.astaro.com/lists/HCL-ASG-V7.txt
you can find al the tested hardware in that list, it is a OLD list.
Hardware listed older than 1 year....

I found the v7.001 works with a whole lot more hardware than it did as a beta. Best bet is to just try and install it. Sometimes faster than trying to decipher the tested hardware lists.

Yep, and if it does work, be sure to report back. [:)]

Would be nice if Astaro collected actual hardware info and then built their HCL from that.

Hi all,

Similarly as here, only GRUB starts and then the system freezes.

Installs OK, however none reboot.
All the same whether with a IDE or a SATA HDD.

The chipset from the Motherboard is also in the HCL.
Does someone have idea?

Property now a test with the 6.3 version started.
Everything works without problems.

Error found.
ASL forgets to start with noapic.
After which i registered the following option in GRUB,

nolapic noapic apci=off

the ASL without problems starts.
ASL was installed with the option "classic".
