Hp Dc5700

We used to install Astaro on HP DC5100 without any problem, the new successor HP DC5700 will only install Astaro in classic mode. After installing Astaro in classic mode, the system will not boot!!!!

    Hi,

    which ASG version did you use?  Output of dmesg would be helpfull (serial console!) or otherwise a photo of the screen.

    Please provide output of 'lspci -vvnx', 'lspci -vvxn' and 'hwinfo -all'.

    You need to add a grub boot option: pci=nommconf
    That solves this problem on a HP DC7700.  So far I haven't figured out a way to make the change permanent.  It has to be entered every time you boot the computer.

    You should be able to make the change permanant by editing /etc/lilo.conf in V6 and /boot/grub/menu.lst in V7.

    I get multiple hard drive errors during boot... (see dmesg.txt)

    slated ATA stat/err 0x51/20 to SCSI SK/ASC/ASCQ 0x3/11/04
    ata2: no sense translation for error 0x20
    ata2: no sense translation for status: 0x51
    ata2: translated ATA stat/err 0x51/20 to SCSI SK/ASC/ASCQ 0x3/11/04

    mysql fails to load on occasion and the webadmin's dashboard says the CPU overloaded.
