Uninteruptible power supply

ASG 6.3xx will only talk via USB ports. ASG does not talk to UPSs via serial.

This feature only supports APC and MGC UPS units.. no others will work.

i connected my gateway to a UPS but it does not see it
I have an APC Back-UPS 800 powering my ASG machine. The USB serial cable is connected between the two, and the ASG box automatically sends me an email notification every time a power outage begins or ends. The UPS features in ASG 6.3 works just fine as far as I can tell.

If your setup won't work, maybe you are using the wrong brand of UPS.

ive met the reqirements and have an apc via serial to the gateway
