Is possible to ping a just installed firewall ?

Yes, it's possible.
After initial installation ping on firewall itself should be allowed.
Do you have problem to connect via browser ?

Yes, i have. I have just installed V5. I put administration ethernet on [eth 0].
But i cannot connect to it and i cannot ping. what should be the problem ?

Could you please post
- the IP adresse you gave the firewall while installation process
- the ip adress of your system ?

A couple of things to check.
Try swapping your ethernet cable to another interface. What you think is ETH0 might not be the one Astaro thinks.
Make sure you're PC address is in the same subnet as the expected ETH0 address.

 The problem was the subnet address (even if i set 255.255.0.0 it cannot see a 255/16 different family)

ASG       192.168.2.100 Mask: 255.255.0.0
Admin:   192.168.10.1  Mask: 255.255.0.0

And it didn' t work. I had to set the same family address to both machines.
