device agent not running - restarted

After update to 5.208 i get a lovely email from my FW app. every hour. It says:  device agent not running - restarted. Any hints to stop this? Reboot didn't solve the problem! ;-)

    What does this device agent actually do?

    I just opened a support case in my.astaro.

    I will post a possible solution or their answer here as soon as it gets to me.

    The official Astaro Support stated: "Device Agent is part of the new astaro product "ACC"
    If you don't use ACC the problem may be that the file /etc/wfe/conf/device-agent didnt exist."

    So I logged in the firewall as the SSH loginuser, went to the path above and did a 'cat /etc/wfe/conf/device-agent'. There it says: kicked=0.
    This line I did want to delete due it is not stated in my other working Astaro 5.208. Due to the rights on that file I first had to chown root and chmod 777 the file device-agent before editing and saving it again. Do not forget to chown wwwrun and chmod 644 again after the editing. After all I just rebooted the machine. 

    And the message do not appears anymore!

    It even seems, that the device agent is running a ps aux says.

    Hi all!
    After update to 5.208 we had the same problem.
    I have been not so happy with the posted solution.
    Astaro support gave me this solution:
    "This is an "error message" cause by our new product ACC, which would
    implemented in the nearly future.

    To suspend the permanently restart of device-agent, touch a file in
    /etc/no-selfmonitor called dev-agent."

    I did so and it works without reboot.
