Speed and Duplex setting

How to change/set speed and duplex setting om ASL 6.x.  I have a Via PD10000 miniITX card with dual NIC.  The type III card works find, but the type II have no/bad performance.  I have tried to connect to different Switch/hub but no changes.

    Hey KSN,

    you can set a Speed with

    mii-diag -F 100baseTX-FD eth0

    you would like on boot
    go to joe /etc/init.d/boot
    insert a mii-diag line before #distribute timezone link to all chroot

    However, there could be different problems with the nic driver on asl. if mii-diag won´t work, try

    ethtool 

    for example

    ethtool -s eth0 speed 100 duplex half


    you can also make an entry in the /etc/init.d/boot if you like to keep this setting after reboot your appliance.

    just upgraded a customer from V4 to V6.2
    Result: no internetconnection !!!
    It takes hours to find out that there is a problem between the external NIC (rtl8139) and the adsl router (Zyxel 650ME-33)
     
    But the last 2 years this combination works perfect 24hrs a day with ASL V4, with the same PIV hardware.  
    I know that i have to chance the port speed of the external NIC but astaro gives no possibility to do this in the gui "network - interfaces"
    Very bad! 
    And i couldn't do a ssh login to change port speed because then i will loose my silver,gold or platinsupport. 

    Any Suggestions Astaro? maybe buy an astaro appliance?
