Astaro not regonizing SCSI Drives

Thanks to KillJoy there's now a workaround to this problem:

Now that the cause has been identified, pehaps Astaro can fix the problem properly?

LOL, SCNR... this issue is old, VERY OLD . hits my post before...

soltution = BB, response= ZERO
sucks quite hard...

 

hallo astaro,

was müssen wir tun , damit wir hier wahrgenommen werden?
zu kreuze kriechen ? DOS ? es nervt mittlerweile EXTREM , das hier zu problemen keinerlei stellung mehr bezogen wird seitens astaro.
was soll das ? werden die "zahlenden" kunden (was wir home user ja auch tun, nur eben weniger ) genau so behandelt ?

ich würde die version 6.x gerne einmal testen, da ich aber eine SCSI umgebung habe kann ich die version nicht testen aus oben bekannten gründen. ich vermisse also ein neues ISO das den fehler nicht mehr hat und auch die SCSI module richtig lädt.
wie lange soll man darauf warten? oder wie wäre es mit einer anleitung in der KB ? oder doch auf version 7 warten ?

huh... did i missed something ?

how much astaro v6 ISOs do you have in common ? 

ausserdem komm ich mir jetzt ein wenig verarscht vor...  denn wenn man einmal kurz nachgedacht, bzw. gelesen hätte, wäre einem aufgefallen um was für eine version es sich handelt...
da ich nicht der einzige bin , der damit probleme hat.

ein kurzer blick ins forum hätte da einstweilen geholfen...
und es hat nichts mit first oder second level support zu tun.. alles dumme ausreden... früher hat es auch funktioniert..

macht  euer gutes produkt nicht damit kaputt das ihr meint euch wie microsoft oder sony verhalten zu können. sowas wird von den leuten die geholfen haben eure software da hin zu bringen wo sie jetzt ist, sehr übel genommen.

das ganze tetsten und fehlersuche wurde zum grossen teil von den leuten hier im forum erledigt und jetzt bekommen eben diese leute einen tritt in den hintern und werden ignoriert. ist das die neue firmenpolitik von astaro ? dann kann ma
n euch ja getrost vergessen. 

was ich vergessen hatte : mein scsi controller ist SEHR WOHL supportet laut knowledge base... also was jetzt, ES HANDELT SICH UM EINEN BUG, DER INSTALLER LÄD DAS MODUL NICHT ...

If i count it right, i would say  3.
Why ? I think it's a nice service from Astaro.
If you need/want a fresh install, you can have newest ISO with newest drivers and save the download of the Up2Dates.
