Looks like a similar problem was found during the beta, but never resolved: [5.800] MegaRAID incompatibility.
Currently the machine is using the megaraid driver. The machine is a Dell PowerEdge 600sc. Below is the output from /proc/pci regarding the raid card:

It looks like the 6.1 software includes the megaraid_mm/mbox drivers which aren't compatible with this raid card, the plain megaraid driver should be used I believe.
