ASG V5 -> V6

From what I have been told, there is a partitioning problem on certain ASG 220s with this upgrade. As a result, they had to pull the migration kit from the servers until it is corrected.

I am sure it will be corrected soon.

Has anyone had succes with the upgrade.
I wonder if you can install the OS through a USB CD-ROM drive using this image

I won't use this .bin file, it seems to be a migration file V5-V6, and no new install for an ASG.

@mdallagi  download ist disabled I  think, cause of some Problems.

have you tried to ask, what else would help? Do you have support with your ASG?, Which one?

I tried the ISO CD upgrade using a USB drive but it didn't work. I also removed the hard drive, mounted it on another machine and then the CD on that. The install worked but the ASG220 still won't boot.

mac: I'm actually demoing the ASG220 right now so I have pretty good support. The Astaro guys have been pretty good at getting back to me but at this point the resolution still involves RMA.

As far as I know Astaro has withdrawn the Update by now due to some problems and is expecting to offer it again next monday.

could you post the BIOS version of the box. Had multiple trouble with the same hardware from another vendor.
