Does the 5.1 solve the 3Com 3C905C-TX problem?

I had to resolve back to 5.26 because my NIC 3Com 3C905C-TX want recognized anymore when i turned to 5.27.

    I saw that the apci was failing.
    I'm using a smp kernel.

    With SMP kernel you can disable apci with 'smp noapic acpi=off' on boot prompt.

    Strange, I have 3 cards of 3Com 3C905C-TX (eth0,1,2) and 2 Intel onboard NIC but ASL at Hardware List identifies only eth1 and eth2

    Did you test the mentioned option above? Are the NICs added to /etc/modules.conf and /etc/modules? Did you plug in the NICs after installation?
    Are the NICs on HCL ?
