Second ISP

This is a frustrating one. I am adding a second ISP to astaro. I set up the Standard ethernet interface with static IP. etc as soon as I enable I am unable to access the first eth1 ip address. Any thoughts?

    Load Balance?
    Send all request for one network or networks out one interface??

    I want to bring both ISP in parallel then eventually remove one.

    Stock, you can only have one default gateway (or "route of last resort") going to the 'net. You can hook up two, but it will only send packets out the one not the last by means of designated networks on your routing page. Fancier stuff has to be done through command line...

    Hi !
    I'm running two ISP's on my Astaro;bBoth with ADSL connection terminated with a router. This routers and the outside interface of the firewall are in the same subnet (on a switch). The default gateway of the outside interface points to the first router and there is a route for a specific networt to use the second one. By switching the defoult gateway and this route I can deside anytine which is my "primary" and which my "secondary" ISP !!!
    Straight forward and easy to configure - should also work for what you want to do (no need of a second "externel" interface and of load balancing).
