After installation ->boot -> 01 01 01 01 01 01 01

Problem as follows,

after installation (everything ok there), booting the computer and then screen goes just "01 01 01 01 01 01..." and doesn't seem to do anything. What might cause the problem ?

    Check that your BIOS settings are conservative.

    What hardware are you using?

    Look likes trouble with releated to the lilo bootloeader/mbr. Maybe your harddrive is defect, to big for your controller/mainboard or something like that.

    Setup as follows:
    Intel Pentium 4 / 2.4GHz
    512 RAM
    HD Seagate 13Gb (main HD is bigger, but when installing FW,  this smaller was the only HD connected)

    still I am quite curious, what is causing the system halt ?

    I was browsing through some older posts, where was similar problems and the problem was caused by HD configuration, would it be the case here aswell ?

    Still, help needed, not too nice way to start product evaluation, ok, installation went nice, other wise, I don't know... [:S]

    I f I got you right you have now two drives connected. If yes remove the second disk since Astaro supports one only. SecApp meant to set the HDD operation mode to normal, not LBA, Fast Mode or whatever.

    I've experienced the same myself. Changed HD settings in BIOS from AUTO to LBA mode

    Hi, 
    You have HD-cryption enabled, to kill this make this...: start your PC with an Booteable Windows CD and give on the promt  fdisk /mbr this kill the HD- Cryption behind them, You make a new Installation, but in the Firsttime don´t make HD-Cryption, i think Your HD is not so young and dosen´t Work with HD Crypton.....

    I have got same experience it was that my hd was'nt in master mode.  try to verify this .
