Installation Problem / Boot from HD

Hi,
i've got a problem installing/running AST4. Installation from the CD works fine, but than, starting the system from HD does not. After bios-checks the monitor shows a continous stream of "01 ". Keyboard is active (Numlock) but the system doesn't boot from HD. I've got a Pentium III, 666 MHz, 512 MB RAM and a new IDE 80 GByte WesternDigital Disk.

Any ideas?

I just found the error, it was a lilo-message and by switching off the power-management in the lilo-conf everything works fine.
