Can't Browse to ASL to complete install

After I did my install, I got a message to remove to CD, reboot and browse to the administrative IP address to complete install.

Well I removed the CD, I rebooted.  On the console I can see the Root login propmt.  I can PING the admin IP address.

I cannot 'browse' to the IP address.

I have tried both http://address and https://address

Any tips?

Oh, currently the box only has 64Mb of memory.  The additional memory will not come until monday....

    login with root/root and check /var/log/httpd.error_log and/or restart webadmin (/etc/rc.d/httpd restart)

    Insure your pluged into the right hub with the admin interface and your workstation.

    There are 2 errors:

    CN name does not match server name.

    CN is 'asl.astaro.com'

    I don't remember being asked for the CN during install....

    and

    No such file or directory

    /home/tom/apache2/apache2/logs/cgisock

    netstat does not show  httpd running.  I did not try a restart of it, as I had poweed down over the weekend and rebooted this morning.

    Well, my 4 port card came and I am going to install it and reinstall 4.000  we'll see how it goes this time.

    I did say I can ping it (meaning the admin interface, as that is the only IP address entered during install).

    I did not say that I am accessing it from a system on its subnet, ensuring that there is nothing between me and the firewall.

    New install works just fine.  So does the new 4 port card!
