I have tried the recommended process of building a new PC, installing 3.2 on it and then restoring the 2.028 backup. This completes and then the firewall fails to process traffic. (I received no replies to several posts that I made here.)
When that didn't work and I got no support I decided to wait until Astaro released the Up2date package. This morning I tried loading the files that were located on the FTP site.
I loaded the md5.sum first and then followed that with each file as they were listed in the ftp directory. Once that was complete I hit the start button and got the following messages back. (This is a cut and paste from the up2date page.)
InformationThere is obviously something in error here since I loaded the md5.sum file first. Now I have the files loaded and have no idea what direction to go in.
The migration process has been started.
Depending on your hardware, this may take up to 20 minutes.
