Tulip NIC drivers

Hello ASL,

sometimes we're using NIC's from KTI with an Intel/Dec Chip. Your installation routine detects them as "tulip" and installs the needed module. But the NIC's don't apear in WebAdmin and are not visible with ifconfig.

We did replace the module tulip.o with dx450.o (or something like that, I'm writing this from scratch) in modules.conf and now they work fine.

Is it possible to change your way of hardware detection to better recognize the "right" module? I don't like booting with an emergency cdrom, mount the volumes and edit modules.conf by hand, I'm a lazy person

I forgot a small detail: without changing the module the ASL Box crashes with the next reboot (for example the first reboot after installation)

first of all, wich ASL version do you use?

to change HD detection I need PCI ID of the card (the second column in /proc/bus/pci/devices)

New ASL 3.50 support the nic's as designed.
