PLEASE HELP!!!!!! - Webserver, Dns in DMZ Troubles!!!

Hello All,

I am using Astaro 3.0.51 with a 384/768 DSL connection.

Nics

eth0 (internal) - 192.168.1.100
eth1 (external) - 216.158.41.53
eth2 (DMZ) - 216.158.41.51 (Note! should this be on a different subnet?)

I have a block of ips from my dsl provider 216.158.41.0/29. My default gateway is 216.158.41.49 for these Ips.

I only have one server in the DMZ which acts as a public DNS/Web server.

I really need help with this setup and want to go live with two of my personal informational sites.

I need help with the proper packet filtering rules, dnat (if necessary), proxy arp?

I was getting a strange error on the install of 2.0.16, that is why I installed 3.0.51. Something about scsi failed. I dont even have a scsi drive. When I choose an installation other than US-American I can get to the end of the installation but I cant enter an administrative email.

cbarone,

make sure that you use different network addresses
on all interfaces, otherwise you will run into
spoofing protection.

If you choose German keyboard layout you'd get "@"
by pressing "right-ALT + q", y and z are mixed up.

Once installed you can change the layout with
"loadkeys /usr/share/us.kmap". To make it persistant
change the value for KBD in "/etc/console".

I use Nero 5.5 to burn the iso's. So the DMZ and External can be on the same subnet?

Does 3.0.51 have any known issues with setting up a DMZ?
