Reboot Failure

I have tried three different hard drives thus far. When I reboot after what appears to be a clean install I get nothing but 1's and 0's accross the screen. Can't login to ADMIN via a browser. Config the NIC with 10.3.1.1 255.255.0.0 (yes this is valid I am CCNA) Have nothing else running on my LAN but one win2k and a Redhat 5.1
NEVERMIND.....while working on this tried fourth hard drive....noting now that anything at 15 gb is bad but 9 works fine all same brand MAXTOR go figure.

I'm having the same problem with a 10GB IBM 7200rpm drive and a Intel D815EFV motherboard.

ASL 2.000 clean install.

A 20GB IBM works on the Intel 815 board, but a 10GB IBM DOES NOT.

Tried new BIOS and re-install, didn't help.

Dennis should have a look into this, but he is currently on a well-deserved holiday.

He'll get back into the hardware support when he's back.

Some thing to try - the Ver2.0 install does not set an active partition. Some Bioses require this. Use a linux rescue disk and fdisk the drive and set the first partition to bootable.
