9.413-4 High Memory Usage

Question

this is something i've been dealing with since the very beginning, but i would like to see if there's a reason and possibly a fix. my Sophos UTM device has pretty high memory usage. i'm running off of a esxi 5.5 box. i've allocated 2 cores of an i950 along with 8gb or memory. i'm including a screenshot of the configuration as well. 
 any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

alright, that was strange. apparently, upgrading fixed the issue. after the reboot, the mem usage is at 29%. here's what top says (and I'll check again in a bit):
