Setting up High Availability between 2 VMs

Hi Ian,

For HA you need to have similar firmware version on the devices and the same number of NIC. 

If you still face an issue in deploying HA post the high-availability.log.

The firmware version is identical, and both VMs have the same number of NICs.

I am unable to access the High Availability log as the GUI becomes unresponsive as soon as I enable HA mode on both UTMs, and I then have to rollback both VMs to an earlier point in time to allow them to become usable again.

Are you able to take SSH?

I'm not really sure what you mean.

I can certainly try and login as loginuser (and/or root) at the console once the GUI becomes unresponsive, but I don't know what to do after that.

Exactly, login as root at the console of UTM and execute the following.

cd /var/log

tail -f high-availability.log

Initiate the HA process and post the logs.

Managed to get this sorted - I had to enable MAC Address Spoofing on both VMs, and then HA mode started working correctly.
