1. This already is possible.  Right under "Sophos UTM 9 Latest Threads' is a drop down menu allowing you to limit displayed threads to those you have not opened since the last new post.
2. I agree.  I'd rather see the poster's name and the time of the post at the top.

In addition, when creating a hyperlink, make target="_blank" the default or let us select that.

Thanks for the response, I admit I missed it.  In regards to #1, how do I access the latest?  When this was posted it worked, but since a reinstall, I only get to https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/ now (not the latest links).  Cannot find where to filter to only new posts.  I am sure I am just missing it somewhere.

Thanks.  I think the thing that I miss is a mark all read when I am done reading.  But I cannot figure out how to show my only unread threads since my last marked all read or even last visit for that matter.  Right now it shows 1209 pages of unread discussions.  I would love for it to just show 2-3 pages each day and when done reviewing the list, have a mark all read option to clear the list.  Just a wish list so to speak.  Thanks Bob!

Darrell, last year, I just went back to 1/1/2016 and used Ctrl-Left-Click to open up ten at a time, Ctrl-w to close each one after the other and continued forward until all of the older 2016 threads were marked as read (it's done automatically).  Now, anything that appears that's less than a year old is a thread with a new or edited post.

It does look like it is working, but man, there are 1209 pages worth of threads in my case.  I really have to click on every single thread just to get them to be marked read?  I must still be missing something.  I am really sorry to be so darn dense.

Well, I did a lot of clicking and closing, Darrell.  I got it down to 50/minute, [:)]

Hopefully they will implement a Mark All Read function soon.  It seems like an obvious feature to have and nearly all of the forums I join support the functionality.  I miss being able to do so from the old forums still.
