UTM Free edition og 105 hardware box?

Hi all,

I'm new to the Sophos products. I have got my hands on a Sophos 105 Hardware box. Is it possible to use a free version of UTM om the hardware box?

Yes, in fact, you should be able to simply mv /etc/asg /etc/asg.bak, do a Factory Reset and do the initial setup.

When i try to use the home free license on the SG105 box i get this error:

Currently i use the 30day free trial. What happens when it expires?

See Balfson's post just above yours. Enable console login, login to console and rename asg file.

Maybe it's just me, but how would this help me?

I assume this will just do a configuration backup before a reimage?

I reimaged and reconfigured the SG105.

This will help you because the physical appliances all have this file and the home license simply doesn't accept it.
