I've noticed when browsing the web via wi-fi from any iOS device on my network, the speeds are extremely slow whereas PC clients do not exhibit the same slow performance.
If I run a speedtest from the same iOS client, it reflects the expected 60/10 Mbit throughput of my ISP. No hardware changes have been made to my UTM. This issue seems to have surfaced thru one of the recent Up2Date software updates (can't pinpoint which one); my UTM auto-updates.
None of the following have helped:
- disabling Advanced Threat Protection
- disabling IPS
- disabling web filtering (iOS clients are exempt from web filtering already)
- disabling QoS
- disabling country blocking
- swapping out wireless access points (just process of elimination)
EDIT: when I access the same sites from public and/or business wifi access points, they are as responsive as expected. If I switch the same device from wi-fi to LTE, this web browsing lag also goes away though it's then using up cellular data plan.
