SSD health

Should I expect premature ssd failure if my swap usage is consistently in the 60 percent range? If so, is there any way to mitigate it? Seems that the UTM 110/120 Rev. 5 (2gb ram) should be able to handle the work load of a family home.

  • Depends on the SSD.  Modern SSDs are still expected to last several years with continuous usage, so I think it would be fine.  I do not know what SSD that model has in it, so I am not sure.  I would think it would be okay though.
