Password Recovery Nightmare: Help!

Refer to the thread above that I am following for my brand new SG125

VGA and Keyboard no dice. 
(Once I enter init=/bin/bash and reboot the keyboard stops working. Legacy BIOS settings have no effect.)

Serial cable no dice. 
(ESC key won't load the bootloader.)

SSH doesn't connect 
(Perhaps I didn't enable SSH in my initial config?)

I am at a loss here. Please help.

    if you truly cannot get into the box..get the usb stick installer for the utm appliance and boot to it..that forces a reinstallation.

    and thank you for your advice. Er... being rather fresh on these UTM's, may I ask where & how I can produce said stick? I take it there may be some receipe as to how to do it somewhere?

    And - all this have to be done from a Mac, just in case that has any bearing on the procedure.
