vpn-reporter.pl segfault after upgrade (and reinstall) to 9.201-25

I am running an instance of UTM inside a VMware virtual machine - Today it is running 9.111-7.

I attempted to update to 9.201-25 via up2date and the system started to run high CPU. I left it for about half an hour, but the issue never subsided. dmesg was filled with entries like this:

[  281.822616] vpn-reporter.pl[19400]: segfault at 74 ip 0000000008061f72 sp 00000000ff9fa3b0 error 4 in vpn-reporter.pl[8048000+4f000]

On the off chance it was something to do with the upgrade, I did a totally fresh install of 9.201-25 from ISO and restored my configuration. The exact same problem was experienced.

I would be happy with a workaround, but didn't see any similar errors on the forum. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

    I did a fresh install of 9.205-12 last week and imported the config (from 9.111-7), and no issues so far.

    I realize that isn't really a 'solution', but it did eliminate the issue for me!

    yeah, i'm already on 9.205-12 via up2date, but it wasn't a clean install, it was an upgrade from 9.1. 

    unfortunately i don't have another similar box that i could do a fresh install on, and i can't take this one out of production. i've granted sophos access to the system now via ssh and webadmin, so hopefully they will find something.
