vpn-reporter.pl segfault after upgrade (and reinstall) to 9.201-25

I am running an instance of UTM inside a VMware virtual machine - Today it is running 9.111-7.

I attempted to update to 9.201-25 via up2date and the system started to run high CPU. I left it for about half an hour, but the issue never subsided. dmesg was filled with entries like this:

[  281.822616] vpn-reporter.pl[19400]: segfault at 74 ip 0000000008061f72 sp 00000000ff9fa3b0 error 4 in vpn-reporter.pl[8048000+4f000]

On the off chance it was something to do with the upgrade, I did a totally fresh install of 9.201-25 from ISO and restored my configuration. The exact same problem was experienced.

I would be happy with a workaround, but didn't see any similar errors on the forum. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

    Sometimes, the Up2Date process scrambles the config, or this happens when restoring a config to a newer version.  I would try a restore from an earlier backup.  If that doesn't work and you have a paid license, have your reseller open a Support case with Sophos.

    i'm having exactly the same problem. previously ran 8.3, did a fresh install of 9.1, imported 8.3 backup, no problems. patched up to 9.2, instant crashing of webadmin etc. 

    did you ever get this resolved?
