different timestamps

Dear board,

is there a known issue about different timestamps in logfiles?

Our system ASG 8.311 runs on etc/UCT and has the right time. The firewall Livelog has a timestamp +2 hours. Other logfiles have the right etc/UCT time. It does not depend on the local browser settings, I checked it with browser settings in UTC and GMT+2, both show the same behavior.

Is anyone aware of such a problem?

  • Have you tried a reboot to see if that fixes the problem?  If you have two devices in Hot-Standby, you will want to reboot the Master node, wait until it's synced and ACTIVE as the Slave and then reboot the other node.

If by failover, you meant from one WAN connection to the other, then, no, I don't see how that could change times.
