different timestamps

Dear board,

is there a known issue about different timestamps in logfiles?

Our system ASG 8.311 runs on etc/UCT and has the right time. The firewall Livelog has a timestamp +2 hours. Other logfiles have the right etc/UCT time. It does not depend on the local browser settings, I checked it with browser settings in UTC and GMT+2, both show the same behavior.

Is anyone aware of such a problem?

    Whenever you change the time in System Settings, you must reboot to avoid these kinds of problems.  I believe there's a warning to that extent on that page.

    Thanks for the reply. I want to do this in the near future, unfortunately I did not change the time settings since a year. This problem is quite new. We had a lot of testing in near past (fail over and a second WAN connection), may this be a cause?

    Have you tried a reboot to see if that fixes the problem?  If you have two devices in Hot-Standby, you will want to reboot the Master node, wait until it's synced and ACTIVE as the Slave and then reboot the other node.

    If by failover, you meant from one WAN connection to the other, then, no, I don't see how that could change times.
