UTM and UK modem / bridge / passthrough configuration

Hi,

I have Sky Broadband and  D-Link DSL-320B ADSL2+ Ethernet Modem - UK.

I would like to set my broadband connection to Modem only and have UTM as a router.

I tried to follow instructions in this thread with no luck. Also the hyperlink referenced there doesnt work.

I have tried PPPoE and PPPoA settings in modem, as well as Bridge Mode.
I do have login/pass from the ISP Router.

I am plugging eth0 to LAN on 192.168.0.x and modem to eth1, modem when not in bridged mode has IP of 192.168.0.x.

I understand that modem should go to eth1 and all my internal network to eth0.

Still, eth1 connection in any way i tried is in status DOWN.

Please advise what would be the best configuration to have my UTM as a Router/Gateway.

    I have a UTM 9
    The DSL modem from ATT works and I can browse the net with a computer and it assigns the external address to my system.
    The UTM will not connect.  I set the WAN interface  (eth1) to DHCP and it does not get an IP the way my laptop does.  The UTM works fine in my home, but not with ATT DSL at my clients.  Any help would be greatly appreciated
