Odd network issue.

The primary WAN interface on one of our systems, I have assigned an additional public IP to.

Works fine for a while, then stops being pingable/functioning.

If I disable then enable the public IP, it works for a while again and then stops.

If I keep pinging it continuously, it stays "up", but if I stop, it goes down after a while.

Any ideas??

  • Maybe the ISP's router is losing its marbles.  What happens if you get them to bounce it?
