Snort sold to cisco

Hi!

i just wanted to know what happens to snort used in the UTM products now while cisco bought sourcefire. will their be any changes to the IPS?

    because our company is many years Sourcefire's distributor, I think that I can describe the situation.

    Snort wasn't sold to Cisco, really.

    You can find an expression of Mr. Martin Roesch, Sourcefire CTO, Snort main developer and Snort license owner, etc.
