problem with Ram in UTM9

hi,
i'm new in UTM9. the using of ram is so much. every time I see 69 % of ram is using and it is unusual. can somebody help me to solve this problem?

Hi Julia,
69% ram is not a bad thing.
But to for people to help you, you will need to provide additional information.
1/. how much ram is installed on your UTM
2/. what services are you running
3/. what sort of networks are connected.

For example my UTMs run 4gb of ram and are about 50-60% used by the UTM dashboard.

My UTM run 2gb of ram and always is used more than 70% by the UTM dashboard.these services are running :
firewall , intrusion prevention , web filtering ,network visibility, ftp proxy,antivirus and antispyware
Is it ok ?
How much ram is needed?

There are graphs of RAM+SWAP in Reporting->Hardware.

unfortunatly utm9 has some ram management issues. Swapping means the machine is out of physical ram for some reason. hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Hi, try upgrading to 9.006; it's supposed to have some fixes for http proxy memory usage.

In my case with 9.006 swapping returns, but below 1%.
Only for information. Currently running at 56% with 4Gb Ram, 1IPS-process, local content database.

I was out for three days this week and shuted down the UTM (homeversion).
What I recognized after turning on is that swapping starts if usage of memory in Dashboard grows over 50%. Swapping is then starting growing too (1% now,not dramatic ,but interesting).
