problem with Ram in UTM9

hi,
i'm new in UTM9. the using of ram is so much. every time I see 69 % of ram is using and it is unusual. can somebody help me to solve this problem?

    A little(less than 10%) is ok..ideal is zero..[:)]  I installed the latest v9 update and am watching the ram usage.

    i also wanna jump into the swapping discussion. We mentioned on our UTM220 (V5) also a very high swapping level of 75 percent and more.
    Does somebody also have the same high level of swapping?
    I don´t think this is normal.

    Try disabling/enabling Web Filtering.  Check the swap 15 minutes later.

    If you're running 9.00x, 9.006 reportedly has some proxy memory improvements over earlier 9.00x versions.

    That didn't take long.  went to cloudy and not only did i take a http performance hit BUT the box is STILL swapping 42%.  So much for ram improvements.  4 gigs is still the REAL minimum for UTM9.

    We are running on V 9.006-5 since the soft-release.
    I tried already to disable/enable the Web Filtering, but swapping comes back very soon.
    We used the trade in program but it lookes that we have not received a performant device.
    William i agree to your statement.
    So also for me it looks like that since V9 a good UTM needs a minimum of 4GB of ram.

    Still using proxy restart at 6.30 and 12.30 since version 9.004

    With su rights edit crontab-static so it should look like this

    I still changed to "local database- disk" for webfilter, just to see the difference. Memory is now at 35%. Swapping still occurs at 1.25%. As mentioned not dramatic but interesting.
    I think ips is the one that causes swapping.
