DynDNS & App Control Continuously Restarting

ASG 8.301

Just updated to 8.301 last Thursday or Friday and since then the DynDNS & Application Control services are restarting approximately every 15 minutes.

System resources all seem normal and the same as before update.

Anyone else experiencing this?  Anyone have any suggestions?

  • I usually suggest the following sequence when something seems hosed for no apparent reason:

     1. Restart.
    2. Restore known-good backups.
    3. Factory Reset (be sure you have lots of off-loaded backups before this step!).
    4. Reload from CDROM.

    Anyone???  This issue is killing me as it resets the internet connection every 15 minutes when the services restart.

    Oh..and restored to 8.300
