We are having an issue with our ASG 425 that has happened to us twice.
We wanted to try out the Web Application Firewall module to see if it would meet our needs. Our Regional Sales Representative sent us a 30 day License ( everything we had activated plus the Web Application Firewall ). I installed this license and we setup a few test sites and were satisfied with it. We purchased the module and upgraded our license and imported it. Everything was working but we noticed some performance issues and then did a reboot of the ASG 425. When it came back up our DMZ interface would not communicate with anything. We tried everything to get it to work but were unsuccessful. We even removed the entire configuration of the interface and set it up new on a different interface. We tried restoring the config to an earlier state but were unsuccessful. The only config(s) that would work were any that were before we imported the evaluation license. Also once we restored back to a config that worked the Web Application Firewall would show as unlicensed until we re-imported our license. At the time Astaro support could not determine what out problem was so we re-setup the config and everything was fine until the 8.2 update. After the 8.2 update the exact same thing happened. There have been a LOT of changes made in the past 5 months and we do not want to rebuild the config every time there is a major update.
Has anyone else encountered this or anything similar?
We have Standard Support and have been waiting 3 days to hear from Astaro about this issue. Our Reseller has tried to help up but to no avail. Buyer Beware of Astaro Support!
