I've got FiOS internet and TV. When watching video on demand (VOD) it will pixelate and some times the sound will cut out.
A little background.
I had ASG 8.003 installed on the hardware in my sig. Speed tests show a solid 30Mbits up and down. But I would get pixelation when watching VOD. No other internet activity was going on at the moment. No big down loads or anything like that. I had Verizon send a tech out. He was open minded and didn't just assume it was my ASG causing the pixelation. He tried several things. The last was to switch me back to the Axtiontec rev F router. Pixelation was fixed.
My ASG wasn't running IPS or TCP syn or UDP flood protection. I checked the cards for dropped packets (ifconfig eth0) etc. Showed no dropped packets or other problems.
Has anyone else had things like this happen while watching VOD?
